Requirements for 24 hour fitness Personal Trainer?

Can an individual become a 24 hour fitness personal trainer with just a CPR Certification and NO outside personal training certification?

I think their standards vary depending on where you are. I joined a clinic in California and the personal trainer that they pressured me to sign up with had very little training himself and did very little for me. I suspect that he was not certified.

I want to joint 24 hour but want to wait for a good deal. Obviously I want to pay little or nothing up front and have a low monthly payment. Month-to-Month is important too. It seems like right after New Years is a good time, but I don’t necessarily want to wait that long either.

dont know which part of US you are in. Different 24 hr fitness centers have diff. promotions going on at diff. times of the year. Check out your local 24hr center, and get a complimentary 2 or 4 wk pass. It’l help you make a decision if you really want to continue w/ them or not. A few days before ur complimentary gym pass expires, talk to sales people and they’ll definitely throw in a good deal to sign U up.

Since tommorow is Independence Day, do you know if 24 hour is closed or not? I looked on their website but all it said was that store hours vary on holidays. Thanks for your help.

I don’t really know, I go to that gym. It’s probably going to be open tomorrow.
