The Sad Story of George Sidoni – ‘The LA Fitness Killer’

Four people were killed, including the gunman, during a horrific shooting at the LA Fitness Center in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, a small community near Pittsburgh. The gunman walked into an aerobics class of all women and turned out the lights… He kept a blog of his journey.
It’s quite clear to me that Sidoni had a broken heart, which was never healed. It’s these kind of scenarios that allow us to lose rationality and partake in the irrational. Coupled with lonliness the pain causes a self destructive mindset as one thinks they are not good enough. They say “It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.” What do you think?

I do feel sorry for …
I do feel sorry for him, loneliness is bad but he needed therapy. He was cut off from everyone not just girls he didn’t have any friends to talk to. Maybe if he had therapy he could have worked out what hurt him so bad that it cut him off from people in the first place. But by making having a girlfriend the solution to everything in his life he wasn’t actually dealing with his problems and he ended up blaming and then hating women. The whole thing was a tragedy and I do feel for him.
