how do i do gym marketing, fitness centers, gyms or health club and copyright ads to retain gym members cheap?
i am wandering what the best and cheapest way to do gym marketing or fitness marketing so i don’t waste money doing sales letters, press releases, radio ads and brochures for my 24 hour fully automated fitness center, that will work. i need different ideas to market my gym also. i also would also like to find out what the best referral program would be to retain my gym members?
One inexpensive method I’ve found that really works is to pin business cards on bulletin boards at local grocery stores, libraries, coffee shops etc. It’s an easy (and cheap) way to target customers.
We’ve had a lot of success by using CardCues – they’re cardboard holders that display about 40 cards at a time. This saves me oodles of time from having to keep going back to the bulletin boards to replenish. If a customer takes a card – there are 39 more there still displaying my message. They also have a fairly small foot print – so store owners don’t mind you hanging them up – and they look cool. We bought them from a local dealer here but you can get them online.
hope this helps.

First off is to find out what sets you apart from all other gyms and health clubs by coming up with a USP (unique selling proposition). dont ise any catch phrases to try to wow your prospect. inside your USP you must give your prospect a reason to come to you instead of all the other gyms. In fitness marketing, gym marketing or what ever you call your club, you must have a great usp and use it in everything you do, from marketing you gym in press releases, brochures, sales letters, your website, and radio ads. I also use wordpress blog software for a free website alternative with a free wordpress template to do my fitness center marketing website at http://www.fitnessmarketing.tv
and the great thing about doing your own website isthat you can make changes yourself and with little effort. if you don’t have a website for your gyms yet because it seems too hard to do, i highly reccomend you go to word press and make one, its as simple as getting a domain name account and installing wordpress and from then on its as simple as doing a word documnet in most cases, and you dont need any fancy graphics on your gym website.
i have a ton more articles on how to market your fitness center, gym, or health club cheaply, and how to open a 24 hour fully automated gym at my site at http://www.fitnessmarketing.tv
p.s. dont forget to sigh up for my updates and new articles on my sign up form.
feel free to ask me any more questions. I hope this helps

The best way is to do online advertising through review sites. There are lots of gym specific review sites. I’m not sure where you live, but if you’re in the bay area, http://www.bayareagymreviews.com is where I go to for all my gym reviews. You get free advertising for your gym there, and it’s really targeted because you are reaching peope who are looking for a gym. If you’re not in the bay area, I don’t know of any local gym review sites elsewhere, but there are tons of "generalized" review sites that have gyms and other places, like yelp.com, epinions.com, etc
